Lunch date with hubby at Mamu's. It's a newbie in Davao's restaurant scene. Situated along Bacaca Road, the building where the restaurant is located is also houses Anisabel Suites.

On to the food. We were quite famished so we ordered several dishes. Food is mostly Filipino and is meant to be shared. The servings don't come with rice so you would have to order separately.
Baked Imbao Clams - Really good! Baked with garlic and butter and Parmesan cheese.
Relyenong Talong - Tasty. Perfect with rice
Chicken Tinuyoan - This reminded me of home. Chicken thighs stewed in soy sauce and tomatoes. Yummy. Best eaten with hot rice. Panalo!
Italian Beef Stew on a bed of Pasta - IMHO, it lacked flavor and the pasta was bland. But the meat was really tender. They should have paired it with Garlic Mashed Potatoes instead of pasta.
The place is a nice date place. Great value for money and good food.
