Francis Magalona (1964-2009)


I got the news around noon today that the FrancisM died. Its just so sad to hear as the last news I heard about him was that he was responding to his treatments and was getting better. Funny thing is that I first learned about it on Facebook. One of my friends shared the information via his status update. Then I immediately checked Inquirer's website and there it was in the breaking news. So it was indeed true.
I am a fan of FrancisM. I used to read his blog and admire his photographs. I have a cassette tape of his first album and memorized the lyrics of all the songs by heart! What a sad day for us. A great music icon of my generation is gone.
