This restaurant never fails to comfort me when it comes to food. I've loved their pancakes and waffles since college (although me thinks the defunct Country Waffles served thicker and bigger pancakes and waffles and had better options for toppings). It was at their Katipunan branch that we(me, Rica & Pau) pigged out after the final presentation of my management paper. That was a loooong time ago...
When I worked for this company in Pasong Tamo, I was happy that there was a branch of Pancake House in the building. Yey! My officemates and I would eat there whenever our payroll accounts allowed us. Hehehe... It was always 2 pieces Pan Chicken with rice(of course!) with 2 small bowls of Gravy, Thigh part please...=) The waiters already knew our order and would place it as soon as they see us coming in.
So when Mike and I decided to have dinner at their branch in SM, I was nostalgic. Sigh. Nevertheless, the arrival of the food made me happy again=) It indeed made me feel that I was home.

Dessert! - Waffle Turnover. Vannila Ice Cream sandwiched in crunchy waffle and drizzled with Chocolate Sauce. What could go wrong with that combination? =) yummy!!!!Pancake House
