Coffee at Yellow Hauz

After the sumptuous dinner at Tadakuma, we decided to have a cup of coffee and enjoy free wifi access at one of the numerous coffee shops here in Davao. We were supposed to go to Caffee Firenzo but decided to try the Yellow Hauz. The place was full for a week night. There was a mix of students, working people and people just hanging out when we entered the place. I ordered cafe mocha and Mike had a pot of peppermint tea. As with almost all coffee shops, wifi access here is free. I also noticed that they even provide an extension cord for those whose table has no access to a nearby electrical outlet. I just don't know if they let them use it for free or with a charge. Coffee selection is the usual. They also have smoothies and milk shakes, coffee and cream blended drinks, soda pop and San Mig Light. Only in Davao can you see a coffee shop that also serves beer=) Too bad I was not able to take a photo of their cooler full of beer and milk for their coffee drinks. They also have pasta, pizza and sandwiches and wine too!

The place is nice. Very homey with a mixture of tables and chairs and lounge sets and coffee tables. They also sell a stovetop coffee maker and kikay stuff. I guess you can reserve the big room that they have if you plan on holding a meeting there.
