There's a new Japanese restaurant that opened at the Damosa IT Park compound. Although I don't know if its the same owner of the restaurant featured here. I think they're on their soft opening stage. The waitresses still need a bit more training as they are not yet adept on the items in the menu. We asked if the Chirashi Sushi had rice with it, she told us that it did not include rice. Which is quite ironic because Chirashi Sushi means "scattered sushi". It's a dish for those who love sushi but does not have the time and the patience to make it into those nice little things that you just pick with your chopstick and pop in your mouth. heheheh...

We ordered Ebi Chiri, Chirashi Sushi and Hiyashi Ramen. Unfortunately, they do not serve Gyoza yet=( And they do not have Zarusoba on the menu (which I was looking forward to eating that night)=( I find it odd that the difference between a Chirashi Sushi and the Chirashi Special was that the later had an extra order of Miso Soup. We thought that it had more topping compared to the latter but then again, maybe the waitress has not yet done her homework and not yet memorized the inclusions in the menu.

The Ebi Chiri was good! Good thing we ordered this. The serving was big enough for two. The sushi ok. It had Tamago, crabsticks, squid, tuna and octopus. The tuna was fresh, the tamago had the right touch of sweetness but the squid and the octopus was on the chewy side. The ramen noodles was cooked al dente and I like it that they also cooled the bowl where the cold ramen was served.

The place had nice interiors. Clean lines, almost zen-like. Most of the chairs are made of wood. They even have a small pond near the entrance.

Bring an ample amount of cash. I'm not sure though if they are accepting credit cards already. The selections are still limited, mostly ramen and sushi. But nevertheless, the food is great. I will definitely go back there and try the other dishes. I just wish that they add the Zarusoba on the menu ;)
