Apa was diagnosed as having this while being treated for amoebiasis. Thankfully, he is responding well to the medications given by the pediatrician and is on his way to full recovery. He is getting his appetite back and making poop twice a day at most. Hopefully, he'll be better after his 10-day medication.
As for his primary complex, his medication does not start until he is done with his medicines for amoebiasis. The medication for primary complex, rifampicin and isoniazid, should be taken once a day, everyday for the next six months. =( Poor baby. He does not like drinking medicines that much. We always have to wage war whenever it's medicine time. Sigh. Now, we will have to endure this for the next six months. But I think he will be ok. He's a strong boy.=) Now everybody in the house has to get a chest x-ray just to be sure that we are all clear or else, Apa's medication will just go to waste.
Holy Week is just around the corner. It's going to be a looong period of rest for me and hubby. We have not planned anything yet. We might spend it at home, lazing around and watching DVDs. Of course, there's always the Visita Iglesia on Holy Thursday/Good Friday. The other days might be spent watching DVDs or just driving around the city. Whatever we might do on those days, I bet it will a spur of the moment thing. =)
