Gardena Fresca



Farewell dinner before Nicky flies off to Dubai. The place was nice. The kids had fun running around the spacious restaurant. The food was not that great. Although my SIL and MIL told me that it was better the last time they were there. I guess the ingredients used were not that fresh. We ordered Chicken BBQ, Grilled and Sizzling Marlin, Chicken Skin Chicharon, Pinakbet, Mangga at Bagoong, Adobong Tahong, Adobong Pechay, Leche Flan and Buko Pandan.









From the items that we ordered, I was only satisfied with the Chicken Chicharon, Mangga at Bagoong and the Leche Flan. My SIL and BIL liked the Marlin too. Everything else was blah. The Adobong Tahong was a bit spicy, could have tasted better if the Tahong was fresh. The BBQ was bland and the sauce that smothered it was too sweet. The Pinakbet was so-so. Good thing they had a good bagoong otherwise, it does not deserve its name. The Adobong Chinese Pechay(they ran out of Kangkong) was bland too according to the Hubby.






The place itself was nice. Garden setting with a huge huge pond beside it. It would be a nice place for a wedding reception if only they would improve the quality and the taste of the food. Total bill for that meal was P1600 for us which came out 200/person. Not bad actually price-wise but it could have been better.
