trodding down the hill
it's officially thursday. 2 more work days (or should i call it nights?) to go and it's weekend again. yipee!! can't wait for saturday? why? well, hat's the only time that I can be a normal person again. not this person living in a different time zone.
work has been a drag lately. but i'm thankful that the calls are not as much as before. we're nearing our lean season, which means more time for "petiks" and "chika" in the office. The american gods are here again. doing some QA and wire-jacking with the other agents. I hope they don't do that in our department. I hope they go without fussing over us.
My last call was so funny. I think it was a teenager calling (she sounded like one). A friend of hers gave her our toll-free number and she called. Here was how the call went:
Me: "Thank you for calling 1800-Meeting. This is ____, how may I help you?"
Girl: "A friend gave me this number to call. What is this again?"
Me: "This is the Global Sales Department of InterContinental Hotels Group. How may I help you?"
Girl: "My friend gave me this number to call. Is this the number to call where you can meet guys?"
Me: "I'm sorry ma'am, but I think you got the wrong number. We do group sales for all brands under the InterContinental Hotels Group."
Girl: "Oh..... I'm sorry....." *click*
Hahaha!!!!! she thought our number was a dating service number. hahahaha!!!! poor girl. she might have been duped by her friend. What a desperate way to look for guys! hello!!!! howell.. i still pity her....I hope she was not that embarassed and I hope she was alone when she made the call so that she could keep it a secret and pretend that it never happend, that she never called us. But we do have an evidence because all our calls are recorded! hahahah!!!!!
Ok. it's getting bright outside and safe for me to walk home. 2 more work "days" and i'm done. And the countdown begins....
