monsoon rains....

it's that time of the year again. days where you wish the sun would come out of its hiding place and stop all that water pouring out of the sky. the rains the past few days is making everything wet and submerged in most parts of the metropolis. I heard that some of the areas in Malabon are already waist-deep in floods. poor people... this time also makes me want to work for the government. When it rains continuously for half a day, the president already declares all agencies to shut-down their pcs, pack their bags and go home. While those from the private sector sit and wait for their HR managers to declare an "early dismissal" at 4 in the afternoon. and as for me, well, rain or shine here in the philippines, work still goes on. life sucks.....

it's already 6 in the morning and i'm still here even if my shift ended at 5 am. it's still raining outside. don't want to risk being blown away by the strong wind, making me look like mary poppins, or being hit by a flying object. the hazards of being in the call center business.

i hope the weather improves today. it makes me lazy and sluggish and not want to go to work at all. sigh.... it really doesn't help at all....
