I really wanted to make pizza from scratch for a long time. This weekend, I searched the internet for recipes of the pizza dough. I found one here and it seemed really easy so I decided to go ahead and try it.
We made 2 pizzas with it. since I did not have a pizza peel or a pizza stone, I just placed the dough on my cookie sheet so it was a rectangular pizza. The first was shrimp and roasted garlic with goat cheese and the second was bacon and mushroom.
The first one was not what we expected. I should have pre-baked the crust and cooked the shrimps. The middle crust was soggy. So this needed a lot of tweaking. The second pizza came out much better.
So much for my first pizza experiment. This really deserves another try =)
