Davao Food Processing and Packaging Expo

Hubby and I went to the Davao FPP Expo yesterday hoping to score some goodies. It's been a long time since I was able to go to an event like this. I went there with high expectations. There weren't too many people in the exhibit area save for the exhibitors. There were only a handful of us checking out the booths. Nothing much going on inside for a visitor like me but for the business people or those connected with the Food industry, it was interesting.

The only thing that made me happy was that Malagos Farmhouse had a booth inside and they were selling cheese! Yep. They've got Fresh Goat's cheese, Chevre, Blush(cow's milk-based cheese)and Herbed cheese spread. They were also selling fresh goat's milk by the liter and yogurt! We also bought a pack of Hungarian and Schublig sausage from the booth of Hero Sausages. ButI was quite disappointed with the sausage. The hungarian sausage tasted like Lechon Manok. No kidding! You can ask hubby to verify this. hehehe.

The Davao FPP Expo is ongoing until June 20, 2009 at the Central Bank of the Philippines Exhibit hall. Exhibit hours are from 9am to 7pm.
