Goodbye....

As I was watching the news this morning, a news report was shown that made me sad. MMDA finally succeeded in cutting down the trees along Katipunan Avenue. It was a part of their road-widening project. According to them, they have the court's go signal that's why they did it. I have also read about it here.

It's so sad to think about those big acacia trees that provided shade whenever we walked the length of Katipunan Avenue from KFC going to National bookstore. The Katipunan that I grew up with is gone. So sad...
