Bento Boxes

This was not my first bento creation. I made several already but I was not able to photograph them. It's not as grand or as creative as the ones you see in other bento sites but hopefully, I'll be able to reach that level =)






I usually make 2 sets. One for me and the other one for the hubby. The challenge now is to think of what foods to include in our bento box. Since I don't have the barans and the plastic grasses and other bento accessories, I make do with what I have. I found this small plastic cases at Watsons Store which I use for my mayo dips and other sauces. I also use lettuce leaves as dividers and to add color to the box. With the lettuce, nothing goes to waste because we can eat it too=) Hopefully, I'll be able to have my own egg molds, onigiri molds, vegetable cutters, little sauce bottles and other cute-cute bento accessories. for now, I just have to content myself by browsing the web and checking out the various bento stuff.
