This is my current obsession. Everytime I go to Glorietta, it's like my feet have a mind of their own and i suddenly find myself in front of their stall at Food Choices.
It's like a trip back to my college days when I would buy an eskimo roll after an accounting exam. It became a comfort food of sorts for me. I was sad when Presto Tivoli, the makers of Eskimo Roll stopped selling them and eventually closed down.
When I saw the Penny Brown stall at the Food Choices in Glorietta sometime last October(or was it November?) and saw that they were selling ice cream sandwiches, I was so ecstatic. The first smacker! that I had was the Dark Choco Sensation and Vanilla Ice cream combination. After the first bite, I felt like I died and have gone to dessert heaven. The cookies were big and chewy and the dark choco chips were a perfect contrast to the sweet vanilla ice cream. My dad saw that I was having so much fun eating my sandwich that he had to buy one too even if he just finished a bowl of Ice Monster.
After that, I've been coming back for those Smackers!. My ultimate goal is for me to try all the combinations of the cookie variants and the ice cream flavors. Hehehe... Now, I have to seriously consider going to the gym to shed off those excess pounds from eating too much of this good stuff.
