Betty Crocker Brownies

After almost a year of not using my trusty electric tabletop oven, I unearthed it from the depths of my collected junk. Mike bought a Betty Crocker Brownie Mix and he has been bugging me ever since to bake it. Instructions were easy to follow. Pour contents of the pack, add eggs, vegetable oil, a little water and the chocolate chips that came with it. We added extra chocolate chips to make it really more chocolatey. Mix till all is incorporated then pour into a baking pan then put in a 350 degree oven. Wait for 35 minutes, turning the pan halfway into the baking time and voila! Out comes a fudgey chocolatey brownie with a shiny top, crusty edges and chewey center. Perfectly paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and sloshed with chocolate syrup.

It was so good, Mike bought another pack for me to bake this coming long weekend. I just hope he has not finished the extra chocolate chips that was not used the last time.

For newbie bakers, I can definitely recommend this. It's a fool-proof brownie package. =) Happy Baking!
