8 years and counting.....

Tia Maria's Cantina in Katipunan was the venue of this year's celebration. Not the exact spot where the first event was held but close enough. It was right beside where the old Tia Maria's used to be. The booze and chow we had was almost the same: Zombie, beer, nachos, flautas. The only person missing was Jose (if you know what I mean..). Attendance was way better than last year but it could have been better. It was nice to see everyone again and catch up on the whereabouts and whatabouts of the people. Everyone was on a reminiscing mood as old love teams and past crushes were teased to no end. And of course, the night would not be complete without pictures being taken. Smiling faces, unbelievable poses and flashing lights kept on interrupting animated conversations and gulps of beer and zombies. The night ended with no casualties, , except for a few loud tipsy people. No one ended up crawling to one's car, barfing and clogging the toilet and daring to cross Katipunan Ave. without using the overpass and play patintero with the speeding cars but nevertheless the event was a success.
