ho hum......
it's been a long time since I last posted here. no developments on my so-called life except for completing a begginers cooking workshop at SMFC. It was a one month thing. We had sessions every saturday and it was fun. The class was composed of different people from students to retirees and all had the interest to cook. Imagine waking up at 6 in the morning every saturday giving up your precious lazing around before waking up time to go to Pasig just to attend class. But I tell you, it was worth it. I learned a lot of things and met new people.
The workshop covered basicaly everything a begginer needs to know- from soups, sauces, meat and poultry cookery and baking. It was a learning experience for me and now I wanna change carrers and be a chef! I have an application form for New England Culinary Institute at Vermont. I'm actually thinking of applying=) but money is the main concern here. Cooking schools in the US cost a LOT and I mean a LOT! I need at least 20 grand for an associate's degree. gosh! where in the world will I get the money for that?! shucks....
