rains...

it was really a test of will to wake up today. the weather was perfect for sleeping and dozing off and seeing mac trudging back to bed made me think twice if i really wanted to report to work or not. it didn't help either that the weather turned to the worse. rains started pouring like garfields and odies at around 10 am and it was starting to get dark that you'd think it was already 6 pm! sigh... too bad for us lowly workers who have to report to work rain or shine, unless a holiday or storm signal #3 has been declared by PAGASA.

moving on to other stuff, good news to the mansioneers, i already paid the electric bill so we are assured of another month of continuous supply of electricity. no need to worry about us spending the night with candelit dinners and our neighbors in a panic-state over us lighting some candles. =) besides, i dont want that freaky lineman going back to our house and asking for my cellphone number!

looking out the window, i see the rains are starting to pour again. sigh. at least, my house is just near the office and i wouldn't have to worry about floods and traffic. according to the taxi drivers whose vehicles i rode going to meralco, traffic in edsa was at a standstill. it was like a huge parking lot. o well, that usually happens when it rains and some areas are flooded.

its already 1:00 pm. my stomach is already grumbling so i better heed its call.
