rain, rain go away....

the rains haven't stopeed pouring since the other day. according to PAGASA, we should expect alot of rains in the following days because of the monsoon season. this is actually good since our lakes and watersheds will be filled-up with enough water supply before El Nino comes.

the rains have brought most of metro manila under water by now, especially the low-lying areas of old manila and marikina and coastal towns of malabon and laguna. most of the roads in the old manila area have been impassable since this morning due to floods. o well, as expected, this always happens whenever rainy season comes. hopefully the MMDA and the local government units are doing something about it.
