I made bread!


Yep! I was so happy that my first try in making bread was a success. I was intrigued when I read the article in New York Times about the "No knead bread" here. Then I stumbled across the blog of 80breakfasts which lead me to the site of this book. Then I found this recipe posted in the New York Times and decided to try it out.

I was not able to take a picture of the sliced portion as we were busy eating it=) It was crusty outside and soft and chewy inside. I forgot to slash the tops of the bread before the final resting. But nevertheless it was good=) I still have a portion of the dough left sitting in the fridge and I have a million ideas on what to add to it. I also asked hubby to check the bookstores in Manila for the price of the book. I can't wait to make bread again!
