third chance?

This afternoon around lunch time, an explosion happend at Glorietta. It was really massive because the roof of the mall blew off. As of this time, 6 people are reported to have been killed and 50+ are wounded. It happend at around 1:20 pm (Philippine time). I should consider myself lucky because if my officemates and I decided to stay and go window shopping at Glorietta, we would have been one of the wounded.

We were at that area around a little past one. We were having lunch at Ineng's Bar-b-que when we decided to go to SM Makati to buy some chocolates for the participants of the CC seminar. We went to Glorietta first using the Glorietta 2 entrance then window shopped a little. We were craving for ice cream so we left that area and went to SM Makati. After buying the chocolates, we were going to the taxi stand when we saw the security people rushing towards Glorietta area. The people manning the taxi stand did not know what happend yet so we were not able to get any chika. When we arrived at the office, only then did we know what happened (salamat sa internet!). I saw the pictures here and only then did I see the extent of the damage. Gosh... I could have been under all that rubble...(shudder).

Flashback to the explosion that happend in Megamall in 2000. My friends and I were there din. We heard the explosion and then saw the throng of people running away from the area. Grabe. We ran from the bridgeway in Megamall(where Triple V is) to the Shaw MRT station in less than 10 minutes. Grabe. I do not want to experience that again.

I'm just thankful that nothing happend to me and my officemates. Thank godness for our katakawan kasi kung hindi baka nandun pa kami nung nangyari ung pagsabog. All I can say is that mahal pa rin talaga ako ni Lord....
