Blogger Friday

I have noticed that the last entries on my blog were made on a Friday. Iso here I am, having my afternon ritual of composing an entry for my beloved blog.

Its already the middle of September. In a few more months its gonna be December which means, its the time for gift-giving and receiving. The receiving part, I have no problem with that, but the giving- ah.. let's just say, I have been preparing for it since January of this year. Yes, with the number of people included in my Christmas list (who says Santa's the only one who has?), I really have to start early. I got a can-full of 5-peso coins stashed away in my cabinet for the Holiday- gift-giving, an idea i got from my former-housemate Rica(thank you dear!). I really haven't counted how much money the can contains but I can say that that will really help me a lot=)

Too early for Christmas angst right? so let's change the topic. Ateneo-La Salle game will be held tomorrow at the Araneta. Was not able to get any tickets and too lazy to go to Araneta tomorrow to buy one, so the TV set will be my friend tomorrow. But not really keen on watching them play. Have a really good feeling that they'll loose anyway, but i'm still hoping that their luck will turn around=)

Have to plans of going out tonight. Have to save!!!! ARGH ARGH ARGH!!!!!! Got a plane ticket to buy to be able to go home this Christmas. and going home does not cost cheap. It costs me an arm and a leg. ARGH ARGH ARGH!!!!!

ok... change topic again

Tang City, a Chinese resturant, opened a branch here in Valero recently. Tried the place last night. The food is good, servings just right and price is pocket-friendly. They got the dimsums - chicken feet, hargow, siomai, sharksfin dumpling, siopao, century egg and seaweed (a favorite). Also available are the usual Chinese dishes- Sweet & Sour Pork, Spicy Spareribs, Squid(fried and spicy kind), fish fillet(with sauce and spicy kind), Stir-fried veggies. They also have roastings such as Soy chicken, Hainanese chicken, Pork asado, and Roast duck. So for the Salcedo village people, rejoice! We have a new restaurant added in our "where to eat today?" list.

Change topic again....

It's already 5:30. Work week is officially over=) Rejoice for God is good. I have survived another week in this friggin' cold office. So, I'm ending this piece because I'm off. Can't wait to go home=)
