FAN-HOGGER STIRKES AGAIN!!!

when the weather turns hot and unbearable, expect a roommate to suddenly transform into a monster that is -- the fan-hogger. just as i was going to bed last night, i felt the humidity level going a notch higher. staying at the top bunk makes me feel it more since our lowly desk fan could not really make its comforting wind reach me unless it was directly facing me. so i went down from my bunk to adjust it a little bit so that the air would be able to reach me. but of course, i considered the princess, in the person of my roommate. i adjusted it in such a way that i know we were both being cooled by the fan. satisfied with the adjustment, i went back to bed thinking that i would be having a good night's sleep.

as i was about to say my prayers, i felt the bed move and the princess muttered, "ibaba ko lang ng konti ung fan ha. kontin lang. me nakita kasi akong lamok kanina." being the considerate roommate that i am, i let it pass since it was still comfortably cool and the wind from the fan was still reaching me. i thought that was the end of it so i slept and went on to dreamland.

at about 5:30 in the morning, i felt my neck being swathed with droplets of sweat and it was becoming uncomfortably warm. i had no choice but to wake up at that ungodly hour to check why the place was becoming hot and to my constern, the adjustment with the fan that i made, with the revision of the pricncess was now undone! instead, the fan was now directly facing her!!!! the nerve!!!!!!! it was really exasperating. what a way to start the day huh?
